Hoverboard Troubleshooting Guide: How to Recalibrate Your Hoverboard

In rare instances, you may need to recalibrate your hoverboard, usually after a hard hit or a fall that causes the board to roll over. If your hoverboard has started shaking or vibrating when you ride, or if one side is turning slower than the other, chances are that recalibrating the board will fix it.

1. Preparation:

  • Ensure your hoverboard is turned off.
  • Find a level surface or floor to place the board on. It should not tilt forwards, backwards, or be uneven.

2. Recalibration:

  • Place your hoverboard completely level and even on the surface.
  • Depending on your model:
  • The board will enter the calibrating mode, and the front lights will begin to flash.
  • Once the lights stop flashing or after 20 seconds, turn off your hoverboard.

3. Completion:

  • Turn your hoverboard back on.
  • Your Segway hoverboard is now recalibrated and ready to ride.

The process is simple and should only take a few seconds to complete. If issues persist after recalibration, please feel free to contact us for further assistance.
